Hi Rai

I have now reached 3000 wpm. Awesome.

My desire for improvement needs to
find new goals for my reading speed!

My Ambition is now to read a page in
one visual gulp. To be able to read
faster than you are able to turn the
page is a dream I have long thought
impossible, but now...

If I continue to run MS31 using the 30 Words Per
Line Right Brain Project Specially Formatted Speed
Reading Material, will I eventually reach this fantastic
goal? Is there a better way to achieve this?

I am very aware of right brain activation
and am enchanted by its elusiveness
to a tangible description!

Thanks as always for your time and
your continued support.

Steven

Rai:

Hello Steven:

3,000 WPM ! Excellent !!! Congratulations !!!

So that I may give you my best answer, please
answer the first 4 questions below for me.

Rai:

1. How often are you running the 30 WPL SFSRM?

Steven:

I am running the 9 Day schedule. i.e.:
Day 1 run 30 RBP WPL SFSRM
Day 2 Day off
Day 3 run 30 RBP WPL SFSRM
Day 4 Day off
Day 5 run 30 RBP WPL SFSRM
Day 6 Day off
Day 7 Day off
Day 8 Day off
Day 9 Day off

Rai:

2. Are you running one line per tick or one paragraph per tick?

Steven:

I am running one line per tick. hmm...

Rai:

3. Is Step 6 Faster and smoother
after each MS31/30WPL exercise?

Steven:

Yes.

Rai:

4, Please give me some details about what happens
during your reading process so that I may determine
how close you are to Right Brain Activation. Review
the 5 Indications in the 6WPL SFSRM article to get the indications of how close you are to Right Brain Activation.

Steven:

OK here goes...

When I do step 1 my reading is always choppy.
Step 2 and 3 are fine. During Step four I experience
high comprehension (85% - 100%) during my paragraph reading. When I move to step 5 and read the SFSRM I feel that I am reading the line above and the line below the line I am actually reading. My comprehension is always very high throughout all the different tempos.  As I do step 6 I feel that I can read more than one line at once, but I force myself to read one line at a time.

Rai:

When you do Step 6, just let it flow as fast as it
wants to as long as you maintain 100 percent
comprehension. Right Brain Activation is trying
to occur. Do not force yourself to read one line
at a time. You are near the 2 Line Bread Point
which leads to Right Brain Activation.

Steven:

This is because I want a comparison with how I
read the line in step 1. When I then go on to do
a speed test I read each paragraph with a sweeping
movement rather than reading each line. I don't
consciously choose to do this it just feels more
comfortable. Interestingly when I read a news-
paper for example - I still read very fast but I have
a bit of trouble reading down the page as fast as
want. I guess just because I am used to reading
from left to right more than top to bottom. I hope
you understand all this ;-).

Rai:

You may have already printed these 10 pages, if not
here is the link. Read this article. It provide much
insight into how close you are to Right Brain Activation.
Please click below and print the 10 pages.
http://www.speed-reading-world.com/SFSRMSections/index.htm

Rai:

5. May I post the below email on my
testimonial page and Forums on the WWW?

Steven:

Sure.

Rai:

After you read the 10 page 6 Words Per Line
Specially Formatted Speed Reading Material article
mentioned above, tell me the indications that you
have noticed as you read and I will help you assess
exactly how close you are to Right Brain Activation.

Yes, continuing to run Mental Stretch 31 using the
30 Words Per LIne Right Brain Project Specially
Formatted Speed Reading Material will eventually
take you to that fantastic goal. Running Exercise 6
in Resurfacing on a regular schedule may speed things
up because it helps you gain greater control of your
own attention.

It is as you so aptly put it, being enchanted
by its elusiveness to tangible description, when
it occurs, you will experience enchantment!

Again congratulations on your achievement of
reaching 3,000 WPM. May you be happy and well.
Rai

Hello Steven:

Please answer the 1 question I have below.

Have you read the 6 Word Per Line Specially
Formatted Speed Reading Material article that
explains the 5 Indications that lead to Right Brain
Activation?

When you do Step 6, just let it flow as fast as it
wants to as long as you maintain 100 percent
comprehension. Right Brain Activation is trying
to occur. Do not force yourself to read one line
at a time.

When you feel that you can read more than one
line at a time, you are near the 2 Line Break Point
Barrier. When you cross the 2 Line Break Point
Barrier, that will lead you to Right Brain Activation.

1. Did you read the 6 Words Per Line Specially
Formatted Speed Reading Material that talks
about the 5 Indications, yet?

You must read it as soon as possible. It explains
the 5 Indications that lead to Right Brain Activation.
Right now, You are very close to Right Brain Activation.

Since your reading speed is always faster and
smoother in Step 6, But two days later in Step 1,
it is choppy, there is a time between Step 6 and
Step 1 where the faster and smoother fads and
becomes choppy.

You must find the time when faster and smoother
fads. At that time, you must run the MS31/30WPL
Exercise. The time is probably between 36 and 48
hours after you feel faster and smoother in Step 6.

Anytime you feel the flow may have decreased, even
a little, it may be time for you to run the exercise
again. You are very close to Right Brain Activation.

Read the above mention article and tell me the
Indications you have and I will tell you exactly
what to do to reach Right Brain Activation in
the shortest amount of time. You are very close now.

May you be happy and well.

Hi Rai

I have re-read the article mentioned below.

I have indeed experienced the first four stages.

I believe I am at the stage of just about to cross
the two line breakpoint barrier. I can read two lines
at once pretty comfortably just not quite three.

Thanks for your time

Steven

Rai:

Hello Steven:

I just realized that I owned you a reply
to confirm the stage that you are in.

Since you can read 2 lines at once, you have
indeed already crossed the 2 Line Break Point
Barrier.

I recommend that you modify your present
schedule to shorten the time interval between
the times you run MS31/30WPL SFSRM to
remove the choppiness in Step 1.

The basic alternating schedule of 135/4 will
remain the same with a small modification.
You have probably already noticed a small
drop in speed and flow about 36 hours after
you run your MS.

When you notice that decrease in speed and
flow, run your MS then instead of waiting the
additional 12 hours that has been your normal
schedule of running it every 48 hours with a 4
day break.

The above small change in your schedule will
take you to Full Right Brain Activation much
quicker. You now stand at the doorway of
Stage 5, Right Brain Activation.

May you be happy and well.
Rai

Hi Rai

I am now in need of the 30 WPL RBP SFSRM!

I have indeed been running the 9 day schedule
(since the 19 WPL RBP SFSRM in fact) as you
suggested and I am starting to experience an
improvement in my "normal" reading.  Not just with
an ease of understanding, but also with an ease of
vision.

Its actually very difficult to describe something that
you know is becoming natural. It is like trying to
figure out how you keep your balance while riding
a bike - once you start to think about it you begin to
find it impossible!

Already the rewards for my dedication have bourne fruit
and I am personally delighted with my progress!

I can't believe I am about to move on to the
30 WPL SFSRM so soon - it has flown by!

Thanks for your continued guidance.

Hi Rai

How are you. I hope you are fine. I am running your Speed Reading System and I want to thank you for creating this system, it is a great system.

I am running Mental Stretch 12 and I already see a great rise in my reading. Everybody is amazed at my reading speed at my university. My teachers are just surprised and keep asking me how I manage to increase my reading speed so fast. This is really a life changing experience, Rai.

All is going fine and I think I will be the fastest reader in my country soon. A lot of people are getting interested in your system, Rai. This system is really working for Georgian (my native language)

Rai,

I ran 17WPL for the 4th time. Step 1 flow was better. High speed was 60% comprehension. Sustained speed was 75-80% comprehension. Step 6 was a little faster & smoother.

Real speed was 34 lines = 2,312 WPM. Eureka !!! New highest mark. I almost could not keep up with my count it was flowing so fast. Anyway, I will skip a day, and then try 17 WPL again. I am close to the 2500WPM mark.

Hi Rai

Firstly, thanks for your wonderful course - it is money well
spent!

My progress to date is as follows:

I have adopted the schedule for maximum progress and have
just finished MS31 for the first time using the 6WPL SFSRM.
My reading flow was fine and my comprehension was about 90% during the sustained speed. My reading speed after the
exercise was just over 900 wpm .

I will continue to run MS31 6WPL SFSRM.

I had a quick look for the 7WPL SFSRM at
http://www.speed-reading-world.com but I couldn't find it!

If you could point me in the right direction that would be
great!

Thanks

Steven

Rai,

Before performing the Mental Stretch exercise on
15 Words Per Lines, I did Step 6 as my Step 1.
The flow was smooth. The Real Speed = 1620WPM,
slightly less than 1800WPM from yesterday's highest
speed. What is your assessment?

I ran 15WPL again, Step 1 flow was a little slick.
Highest Speed = 75%, Sustained Speed = 90-95%.
Step 6 was a tad Faster & Smoother. Real Speed
= 35 Lines = 2,100WPM. Good thing I ran 15WPL
today.

This is an even higher Mark. I have broke the
2,000 WPM barrier & gone beyond it.

"Beyond 2,000 WPM" This is Totally AWESOME!

Without a doubt, I will run 15WPL tomorrow. I will
perform the same pre-test (Step 6 as step 1) as I
did today for tomorrow. I think this approach will
maximize my transition to next WPL without as
much of a drop-off and receive greater benefit
from the next WPL - MS ex.

The next goal is 3,000 WPM.

Subject: [speedreadingworld] Re: new reading material needed

Hi Ric,

To answer your question....no I wasn't a very quick reader. Before I started with speed-reading my reading speed was around 400wpm. I started on the road the road with the mega speed reading system by H. Berg. And it did work, sort of. I got my reading speed up to around 800 to 1000 wpm.

But there is a major drawback with that system. It takes around 1.5 hours a day to get anywhere. And if you stop using it your reading speed will start to drop. That was the main reason I stopped using the mega speed reading system.

Around a year later (a month or two ago) I found Rai´s Speed-reading 2000. And I must say that the results were great. In two months 2 min a day I increased my reading speed so much that now I read easily 2500+ wpm and if I really push it 3000+ wpm.

Last week my brother tried the system and in one or two days he doubled his reading speed. So the system works for me and all I can say is try it and hope it will work for you as well. With kind regards,

F

I highly recommend it.

I increased my speed from 650 wpm to 3500 in 6 weeks, two minutes a day 2 days a week. The increased reading speed wasn't as impressive as the fact that my mental processing speed increased.

I don't know how to explain this except to say that I  think faster and whole new creative pathways opened for me. Who would have thought that increasing  reading speed would be so much more.

This is a simple easy to use program and it doesn't take much time each week. However, you must do it regularly until you achieve the results you want. I decided that 2 minutes twice a week wasn't alot of time and it has been well worth it.

Good Luck and may you achieve all of your dreams!
